Azerbaijan: Turkish student visa, consulates and appointment guide
Citizens of Azerbaijan can enter Türkiye visa-free for tourist stays of up to 90 days within 180 days. The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that those coming to study should obtain a visa appropriate to that purpose from a Turkish mission. Students who enter visa-free can also apply for a student residence permit at the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management (e-ikamet) after enrolling, before their visa-free period ends. Confirm the right route with your university's international office.

Directly at the mission
As no student visa is required, you do not need a consular appointment. For information, you can call the consular section of the Embassy in Baku on weekdays.

When travelling to Türkiye, bring your passport, the acceptance letter from your university and the original of your high school diploma. You can obtain the diploma equivalence certificate from the Directorates of National Education in Türkiye or from Turkish missions.
